As i move through the clouds into the darkness
releasing what it feeds
slowly losing control
becoming a target
our fall is guaranteed

At last i find the clearest of skies
As the storm seems to die
The clouds splitting a course
open my eyes to see the sun
the spaces closing all around me
(sudden traumatizing shock)
the massive electronic charges
(becoming difficult to block)
slowly losing control
(become a target)
(Asphyxia )
so i’m fighting for air
the altitude lost in seconds
(infliction) of brief moments portrayed
(my worn out wing have failed again
At last i find the clearest of skies
As the storm seems to die
the clouds splitting a course
open my eyes to see the sun
As i look back i stopped and stared
at the storm that forced its way
this trauma gently sinking in
makes it hard to understand
relieved by blinding sunlight
I soar away

The seconds drown the day
as hope we had vanishes in air
this distance seems to fade
we strive to find a way to get us there!

Trying to find a purpose, i walk towards the door
(Forced by the shock)
Counting the endless tears i’ll shed no more.

I’ve let these unspoken conflicts break me day by day
And i sold too many promises and words i’ve led astray
I’m empty and i’ve grown afraid of loosing the things we’ve never built.
These walls are getting stronger
while we fall apart obtaining a grief we’ve never felt
And through our empty embrace!

breathing in on my fear
It consumes every drop.
Lost in desolate halls,
Surrounded, all these doors are locked.

Every step that i take, So quickly lost my balance. I Cant seem to find the utter strength to, (The strength to carry on)
The shadows, They Stare me down
So quickly it shakes me down
Entrapped, I’m encompassed by shells of nightmare
the empty spaces i tried to escape

As I Look up to the faces that i fear
The shadows staring me down
The presence seems to familiar
(The possibilities are vast)
The faces like that of a mast
The mast that I've (been trying to Hide)
Like i’ll never escape the shadows that are in my way
the nearest of doors i see i run towards
like i’l never escape these faces that are in my way

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly. Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant.
